Can mold destroy a concrete patio
We had a concrete patio poured 1 and a half years ago and now there are
chunks breaking off of it and the top is flaking away. We think it is bad
cement...the company that poured the cement says its mold??
Mold, itself, will not destroy concrete. If you have mold, you
have a moisture problem. That will cause damage. The freezing and thawing
of water is what deteriorates concrete. I would suggest a second opinion.
And, by the way, I know of no contractor that guarantees cement work. They
say there are too many variables involved, and they won't risk the money.
